Λέγεται στη Βικιπαίδεια πως ήταν «ένα μικρό χωριουδάκι, που αφανίστηκε με την αλλαγή της φύσης». Εγώ, όμως, το περπάτησα. Το είδα με τα μάτια μου. Την τελευταία φορά που βρέθηκα εκεί, πήρα τον δρόμο προς την καρδιά του χωριού. Όλα τα σπίτια — κατακεραυνωμένα στη μέση, σαν από αόρατη λόγχη φωτός· οι άκρες τους άθικτες, μα η μέση τους στάχτη και κάρβουνο. Ένας αφανισμός όχι συνηθισμένος, μα σφραγισμένος με την υπογραφή ουράνιας οργής. Το όνομά του:  Σκοτεινιά .
